74 Johnson powershift 2 controller and wiring help.

I have a 1974 Johnson 85 hp and the powershift 2 controller and were just getting into getting this boat running been sitting long time and not finding any info on the powershift 2 control box or wiring diagram for this unit.

So hopefully can pick the knowledge base here and find some resources. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I originally cracked open the controller to check ignition switch wiring for when batter hooked up was only getting power back to the choke and no ignition. There was some frayed wiring but that was going to a splice to hot for a gage..

Just lost on where to find diagrams and good info on this old 74 setup.

The ignition system on that motor does not use / need 12 volts from the battery.-----The starter motor and choke need 12 volts.------When the motor is cranking at say 250 RPM the flywheel magneto works to make the spark.----Maxrules -----mastertechmarine----Might offer a wiring diagram.
