'74 Starcraft Super Sport 16

I am modifying the interior. I want to install removable seat pedestals (Spingfield Taper-Lock).

My question is does anyone know if I have the required 3" clearance below the deck about a foot from the gunwales to mount the seat bases?

There are flush-mount predestal bases you could look into...but if your deck is 1/2" then you only need 2.5" of room so I think you can probably work with it. I'd be careful though to make sure nothing is contacting the bare hull.
