75 Chrysler 8hp pulse at wot

New plugs,cleaned carbs.Was told the compression is good.

Problem: I can get it to start no problem and then run great up until WOT. Then it seems to pulse until i back off to 1/2 throttle. I can't call it a bog because it seems fine just pulsing real bad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would first test for a spun hub however I dont think that is the problem. Take a marker and mark a line on the prop to the prop nut. If it pulses take a look and see if the line still lines up.

I would check the float level and the fuel pump. Could be an air leak but my guess is the float is not allowing the float bowl to completely fill with gas.
