Lonnie.... Remove the s/plugs. Crank the engine and double check to see if there's spark. If not, remove the black wire that has a yellow stripe from the powerpack. Now, recheck the spark. If you now have spark, in all probability, the ignition switch has failed. Let us know what you find.

Note, you can crank and check for spark by having the s/plugs out, the ignition key on, and use a small jumper to connect from the battery side of the starter solenoid to the small 3/8" nut terminal of the solenoid (but not the 3/8" ground nut).

mr reeves, i disconnected the black wire with yellow stripe and it did not help. is that the kill wire ? i cant seem to confirm which wire is. i tried a few things yesterday , im not sure it helped ,but i took apart the shift box and cleaned the wires and tried to make sure there were no bad wring ,didnt find anything but corrosion. when i put it all back together the first time i turned it over it started , and started the rest of the day. this morning i tried to start the motor and nothing!!
