I have a brand new 610 cca car battery that I can't use in my Jeep because the terminal posts are on the wrong side. Is this enough cold cranking amps to use with this motor?

I should mention, I've been using this battery to start and run it on the muffs while I''m working on it. It seems to do fine, even at high rpm's.

I would think that battery will be fine. I think the standard battery (24 series) normally has about 500 CCA.

ok thanks Chris. :) I searched the forums and came up with everything from "it requires 500" to "it requires 1000 cca". But I guess as long as it starts it and runs it, that's what counts. ;)
