76 evinrude 35hp missing at mid speeds

[unleaded]

it starts and idles fine and full throttle is fine as well but it stumbles all over at half throttle. i've replaced a bunch of parts:

head gasket
plugs
coils
points/condensers
cleaned carb
new gas
impeller
rectifier
thermostat

when i took it apart today to throw a new head gasket on it the cylinders & pistons look fine and the old gasket wasn't too bad either

a timing issue maybe? thx in advance

New gaskets when you cleaned carb?

When it is missing, use a timing light on each coil wire and see if you have a constant and steady spark. At least it will tell you if you are fighting a fuel or ignition problem.

No I didn't use new gaskets but I have a rebuilt kit lying around and will try it. Hopefully that's it, nothing really left to replace
