76 johnson not running

i got new plugs and i have fire. At first it was fowling the plugs and quit runnin after a while, but now it cant any gas i dont understand it! I can still feal some suction through the carbs so my ring might not b totally shot, but the plugs r not getting any gas. May be someone can help me. I am a automotive tech but not an outboard mechanic.

Try squirten some premix into carb throats. If she fires off then clean carbs real good.<br /><br />Remove all welch plugs and use compresssed air to clear all passages real good. When you think you have it good and clean, Then do it again!<br /><br />New needle and seat new carb float adjust per manual dead on.<br />Check lead shot plugs for loseness if they can wriggle it will suck air, and be nie on to impossible to get it to idel right.<br /><br />If it dosent fire up for a few seconds with a few squirts of fuel mix. (Dont use starting fluid)<br /><br /> Then run a spark test.Its gota jump at least a 7/16 gap.<br /><br />Good luck!

Try wetting the cylinders (oil or pre-mix)
