I was wondering if any can tell me if there is supposed to be a spring under the plunger that goes into the automatic choke solenoid ? If so where can I find one?? I MUST HAVE LOST IT DURING MY REBUILD... NOT BAD IF THAT IS ALL I LOST.

Thanks
Larry

P.S. It has been a year in the making, but I finished my 1977 140hp V4 Rebuild. I bore the block after a burned up piston and replace all 4 pistons with all new bearings seals and everything. She even got a new paint job. This was my very first attempt at this kind of thing. All the advice and information I got from this site has been invaluable. You guys have so much knowledge and are all so helpful. I think the most important bit of information EVERYONE gave me after my first posting was "GET A OEM SHOP MANUAL" OH YEAH... IT TOOK A COUPLE MINUTES OF CRANKING TO GET GAS TO ALL THE CARBS AND WITH A FEW SPITS AND SPUTTERS.. SHE FIRED TO LIFE?? AFTER A MINUTE ON THE WARM UP LEVER I PUSHED IT DOWN AND SHE IDLES GREAT. SEEMS TO REV FINE TOO. I REALLY WANT TO PUT HER ON THE WATER TODAY AND GIVE HER A TEST, BUT NOT THIS WEEKEND. HA HA TO MANY WEEKEND WARRIORS OUT THERE HA HA. I WILL POST PICS AND TELL ALL ABOUT HER TEST RUN.

THANKS AGAIN.
