'77 85hp Evinrude

Trying to iron out kinks.
Compression test on warm engine w/ plugs out read
115 + or - 2lbs on all four cylinders.
Spark test w/ inline tester shows good blue spark on 3 of 4 cylinders.
No 3 ( I think - lower cyl on starboard side) gets no spark.
Would this be coil for this cylinder?
De-carbed using ear muffs according to instructions here and noticed a missing, puffing from time to time producing smoke through prop opening with each miss.
I attribute this to the no spark issue on #3 (I hope).
Any help or ideas appreciated.

Move the ignition coils and see if the problem follows the coil to another cylinder.

If that fails, switch the powerpacks and see if the problem follows the powerpack.

If that fails, test the timer base.

If you find cracks, swelling, or discoloration of the ignition coils, they should be replaced.
