77 evinrude 70hp no top end power

my 77 70 hp evinrude has about 2/3 of its normal power at top end it cranks and idles fine and runs smooth at top end just no power.any suggestions.

TIme to start trouble-shooting....<br />Are you getting full advance on the throttle? With throttle lever in full wide open, are the carbs following suit? Are all three carbs getting good fuel flow? Are you running on all three cylinders? Is compression good and even on all three cylinders? Is the prop in good shape? Lots of things to check to narrow down the cause....<br />- Scott
