Does anyone know where I can find a wiring schematics on line for this motor. Seems to be a hot short somewhere when hooked up to a battery. Is the solenoid inside the motor supposed to be always hot on 3 of the 4 posts terminals. Left post (10 gauge wire) goes to Starter and incoming Red line; Right post (10 gauge wire) Black wire is now always hot. The smaller gauge wires Yellow (facing to rear of motor) is hot and the Black wire (facing toward bow) is hot. I would have thought that the smaller gauge wires would only get power to them when the key was turned to "Start" position. How do you test this solenoid? I don't want to attemp to fire the motor until I do other tests so as not to harm switchboard, etc. Thanks
