78 16ft Sea Sprite Need info: cant find capacity info

I bought a 1978 Sea Sprite 16ft tri hull with a 78 Johnson 70hp.

My ? is what is the weight capacity or # of people the boat can hold. I cannot find the plate on the boat as the last owner put a camo wrap over it. Anyone know where it should be.

also what horsepower is the boat rated for

or any links to any info would be great. thanks!!

Ill try and get a pic of it up in the next few days. I bought it from IL and it had current papers and safety sticker but how does it not have a weight rating on the hull or in any of the paperwork? anyone from IL?

The specs were originally in the pass thru of the windshield. Mine shows 85 HP max. Mine is a Cougar 15 but measures out at just under 16 ft. i believe the capacity for people is 750 and total capacity is 1250.
