So aside from having a perfectly running motor last time I ran in July I decided to replace all the fuel lines on the motor, pull the carbs off split them and spray/ blow them out despite rebuilding them less than 100 hrs ago. I broke and replaced the top fuel pump in the process. Its had half a tank of 93 octane since July topped off with 92 yesterday. Now the thing will not run. Turn the key and it coughs and dies, best I can get is to start and run after ten or so times hitting the key for it to fire and run for a few minutes at midrange throttle in nuetral and it surges even then. If you back it down to idle it dies, if you try and give more throttle in neutral it bogs and dies. I changed the plugs and water separating filter and its still doing the same thing.
The primer bulb isnt getting tight at all, just seems to keep right on pumping fuel and I cant find any leaks. It seems tp just be pumping fuel into the cylinders.....this has to be something simple, WTF?!
