Have above motor, locked lower.Got another lower on ebay.my problem?my shift shaft has a fixed gooseneck ,threaded at bottom.New has lollipop top with eye, threaded at top,different length.any known adapters or must I cut both and join with connector to get right adjustment? Thanks in advance. Dave
