79' 100 hp. johnson

hi,<br /> there seems to be an excessive amount of water coming out of the two exhaust hole in the rear of the motor when running w.o.t.. do i need to be concerned because it doesn't seem to run hot. i also have a 77' 115hp. and it doesn't seem to do this.<br />thanks for your help!<br />LIKEAROCK

Had a buddy with a pair of 79 100hp Johnson Javilens on a 20ft Robalo. One pumped water like a fire hydrant at WOT and the ran dry. I've seen this on 100's of V4's all years. Some blow it out the top exhaust holes and some don't. Don't worry about it..

thanks dunk,<br /> this is a javelin model also. i had noticed that on my 115hp. that the water did come out of the lower holes(6 holes i think) but on the 100hp it doesn't. this one is just like your friends it pumps like a frire hydrant! thanks for the info.<br />LIKEAROCK
