Hello again all.well this is the weirdest thing that i have ever tryed figuring out.here what it does.starts with ease, and runs flawlessly for however long intill you sit for more than 15 min. And try to restart again.if i were to cut it off and start it soon after it would start and run just as good, but once it sets it will flood so bad(it seems) i can barley get it started.then it will start, and when i raise the warm up lever it will run great intill i put it in gear and try to go and then it just loads up and dies....where would you start if it were you boat guys?

It's been my experience that a 2 stroke, once cooled down, always needs choking to restart and then a quick warmup.

If it's flooding out, you should be seeing or smelling raw fuel, either at the carb or once started, nasty black exhaust smoke.

I should have added I guess when trying to re-start if I choke it will hit and almost start. Then I unchoke and turn it over and it starts,I hit the warm up lever and it runs great without a miss or sputter.I put it in gear and it acts like it wont take the gas and floods and stalls. This happens 6 or 7 times then it finially will blow itself out and go.Im thinking it may be somthing with the timing.Reason being once it starts, when I used the warm up lever wich I know also adjusts the timing,it runs without a sputter, then when I release the warm up lever and go into gear it acts up and dies.

Start with the basics.
Compression
Spark
Fuel delivery
Spark plug condition.

Go from there.

Compression will cause them to run like this?I didnt know that....ok your right its a start. As I said though,it starts right up cold and on its first running of the day, turns over twice mabey, then runs like a cheetah on cocaine intill I cut it off......just asking

Just suggesting you give it a basic health check if it is an unknown quantity at the moment.
What is your re-starting procedure ???

I hook up the fuel line, prime the ball and trim the motor up,not out of the water but up.Then I put the warm up lever between 3/4 and full, choke and start. It will hit but not start, then I relese the choke and it starts up.I let it warm up for 10 or so seconds and its fine from there on.Only intill I try to restart it after warm up and a short spell sitting does it act the way it does.Ive tryed restarting with the cold start procedure from there, but it doesnt want to start.................please help?

Had a neighbor come by and check compression, all cylenders are even and in the 120's,where to now?
