Hey again guy's/gals........... I have followed the manual to a "T" on removing this powerhead. Problem is, it still feels like something is catching and preventing the removal. Any ideas? I hate to force the issue for fear of causing more damage than has already been done. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks in advance...........ALAN

If you're lucky it's just the powerhead base gasket that's holding it on and requires a little more jiggling and jouncing to unstick it. If you're unlucky the end of the driveshaft is stuck in the end of the crankshaft. You might try removing the gearcase and this will reveal if the driveshaft is stuck in the crank. It's a good idea to remove the gearcase anyways because when you go to replace the powerhead it's much easier to do with the gearcase off so you don't have to deal with getting the end of the crank over the end of the driveshaft.
