'79 Evinrude 6hp dismantling

I'm taking apart my 6hp model 6904E. Silly question, how do I get the crankcase separated? I think all the screws/bolts are out and the dowel pins are out as well, but the halves are really stuck together.

Try tapping the end of the crank shaft with a mallet.

Thanks.The problem was a combination of slow thinking and bad manual. I missed 2 bolts under the intake, which I supposibly could remove with the carb still attached...can't. That was my first clue. The second was counting the bolt holes in the schematic.
