'79 Johnson 140 Spark Plugs

Howdy! Great forum & website!<br /><br />I've got a '79 Johnson 140, model # 140TL79R, and I'm trying to find out what spark plugs are supposed to be used or a recommendation. I've spent about an hour searching thru the forums but no luck for this particular motor & I want to be sure.<br /><br />Thank you for your time & effort, it's greatly appreciated!<br />HH

Welcome HH!<br /><br />With todays fuel I would use Champion (Q)L77JC4's. Remember -- Champions only in an E/J.
