1) the most important, is my engine runs good when it wants to.
The problem occurs when I leave the no wake zone. I go to full throttle to get up on plane and it will throttle all the way down but wont get on plane since it feels like its only half throttle.
2)my tac dosnt work so I dont know any RPMs during the first problem. Though I confirmed the wires to the tac are receiving power.
ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR TROUBLE SHOOTING THIS PROBLEM WOULD HELP. ALSO ANY IDEAS WHAT IT MIGHT BE?
MORE INFO TO HELP diagnose. 14' FIBERGLASS STAR BASS BOAT TRI-HULL. WITH A 3 CYL. OUTBOARD USING A NEW 6 GAL AUX TANK WITH NEW FUEL LINE AND FITTINGS. 50:1 GAS. PROP SIZE 10.5X 11 PITCH X 4BLADE (COMPOSITE)
COULDNT SAY EXACT BUT BOAT DOSNT WEIGHT MUCH AT ALL. I ALSO MOVE MY TRIM PIN ACCORDING TO BOAT LOAD CONDITIONS TO GET ON PLANE FASTER I USUALLY RUN IT ALL THE WAY DOWN.
