Hey guys,

Just wondering if someone has a diagram of where all of the engine drains are for winter storage?

Thanks

if RWC, one on each side of the block, one or two on the underside of the manifold
FWC, the riser if a full system,
FWC 1/2 system, 2 on the bottom of the manifold

Thanks,

I did find the 2 on each side of the block. i loosened those 2 and a lot of water drained out...

Do you know what the drain will look like on the manifold?
Also what does RWC and FWC mean?
Fresh water cooling? and recirculated water cooling?

My cooling is a freshwater open system

Thanks again

Don't forget to pull the hoses off the water circulation pump in the front of the engine and the power steering cooler, if there is one. Then pull the thermostat housing and remove the thermostat. Then pour antifreeze into the engine through the thermostat base. Close the drains as the antifreeze starts to run out. Then fill the block. There's a winterizing check list and diagram available either on this site or on BoaterEd.com, I forget which. Very handy. Hy

should be a brass plug on underside of manifolds.remove them and may need object poking in to remove any debris.anti freeze is optional.as long as all water is out and lowest hoses are removed things will not crack.seal air intake with a bag and band, then spray fogging oil in each of the pots.roll engine over a few times without starting(by removing centre coil lead)fogging oil could also be sprayed directly into carb to stall engine this will ensure liners are fogged.then drain.
