79 omc 400 with a 140hp chevy 4 cyl

was thinking of a fantasy swap out the chevy 4 cyl engine and put in a small chevy v-6 was told this cant be done due to gear ratio??? is this true if so what can be done?????

Nope,... It Can't be done,.... Sucessfully anyways....

Considering what you're starting with,... Another boat is the Best thing...
