79 power head 115hp to early 60s v4

will these later v4 engine blocks mount and functionof course to early 58-68 case/lower unit, I was wondering I am planning a early evinrude but have a good running 79. want the early motor for its looksfor a classic boat.

No. The bottom of the later crankcases won't adapt to the older unit midsections. Then you've got the shift shaft connections to worry about, too.
