7hp Sea King (Clinton) Year and Carb

I got a 7hp Sea King (Clinton) sight unseen from Craigslist for the right price. Overall it is in pretty good shape. The guy advertised it as having a new carb. Well, he was misleading. He actually put a new Tecumseh lawn mower carb on it, and of course, the linkages don't line up at all (plus, it has a primer bulb instead of a choke). I'm in search of the right carb. Can anyone look up the proper carb manufactor and proper carb model number please? Also, what year is my motor?

That will be a tough assignment.Some used a Tillotson carb.Clinton has been out of business for some time.Ebay is probably your best source for parts or parts motors.If you just want to run it you could operate the carb using a
lawnmower throttle cable. Don't worry about the spark lever on some old motors they were independent.
