1994 Evinrude starts and runs fine at idle but give it some gas and it shakes and seems to misfire and run very rough, at full power it smooths out. What can be the problem????
sunbeam,<br /><br />Typically, the condition you describe is a carburetor that is fouled or becoming that way. The transition gets rough, as you describe.<br /><br />A carb rebuild is easy and inexpensive.
I have the same motor and the same problem.<br />my engine runs really rough in the mid range too<br /><br />I mixed some sea foam with the gas and ran the tank almost out and that did not help at all.
