Greetings post,<br /><br />Just added another old outboard to the yard. The little guy runs great but is not pumping water out the pee hole. I did take the water pump apart/serviced it (totaly clogged with salt). Same goes for the thermostat (completely corroded too).<br /><br />Short story put it all back together and still no tell tale. I am gussing the corrosion runs deep. I did hook up the garden hose to the water tube and got it to pass through!<br /><br />So the question is...Is there anyway to flush this out without taking it appart (it runs soo good). One guy told me too hook up the hose to HOT water? Is there a flushing product I could look for?<br /><br />Thanks<br />The Hermit
