So the Impeller was in peices in housing I think I got them all out . I blew air up through p/u tube seemed clear went up through and out **** tube ........ I'm hoping I have no residual up in block anyway to flush it out?
you can remove your t-stat and flush from top of motor with water not air. next time dont wait 10 years to change out the impeller or run it without water. good luck
every 2 years is good enough,,but they are cheap enough to do every year..hate getting motors from people who did not do routine maintenance..It never ceases to amaze me at how many boat owners I talk to who have never even heard of a water pump impeller..good luck.
Thanks Sparki Yeah it pisses me of as well , its just plane abuse . These 2 strokes can last for every with Pro active maintance. . Cooling is like top priority for these to last. Not to memtion regular PM after every use
