Last year my motor was not running very well, it was fouling plugs and skipping bad. After getting it started it would have to be run at a low speed for a few minutes before going full throttle or it would stall out. I managed to use it 3 times and it never seemed to get to full speed or power. The top spark plug would be fairlly dry at end of day but the bottom was pretty wet and didn't look like it was running on that cylinder. I bought the thing that hooks to a garden hose and tried to start it at my house and it would foul plugs after about 4 seconds. The plugs looked like they had water drops on the electrodes. If i tried to start it with the plugs out I didn't see any water spraying out. I drained the carb last year and the gas looked bad. I put some gas in a metal bowl and lit it and it boiled almost imediately. Could it be water in the gas? I took the carb off 2 days ago and took it apart. there was no gumming of old gas but there was a lot of wet oil residue in the carb. I was unable to get the jet? in the bottom center of the float bowl out. Should that come out and if so how? Any other ideas of what the problem could be? i bought fresh gas to try today.
