I recently purchased a 12' boat with the 1981 Montgomery Wards Sea King 7.5 Eska Built motor. It had a fuel delivery problem as it runs great for a few minutes after I pump the primer bulb, then dies out. It looks like someone has replaced the connector for the remote tank with a generic barb fitting because it's just fed thru the hole and not tightened down.
New Tank, New Primer bulb, hose and hose clamps. After it dies out, the bulb is soft until I pump it back up then it's firm again.
Need some help! How do I remove the white Cover....What Screws?????
Also, I have the fuel from onboard tank closed(turned fully right) as shown in the pics attached to this post.....
