'82 4.5HP EVINRUDE drippin oil from water intake?

After storing my motor in shed i noticed it had some oil spots under motor so i took a look and all i can see if lil bit of gear oil slowly drippin off the water intake tube/screen. What could be goin on here? think this is maybe why im getting a lil water mixed with my oil?

anyone?? i guess ill try taking it apart see if i can see better where its leaking from.

If its black and gungy but only thin oil its just partly burnt oil from the fuel and is normal.

If you are sure its gear oil then you have a seal gone (probably the vertcal driveshaft seal)

You have water in the gear oil so there is a leaking seal there somewhere
