Need to know how difficult it is to change the fuel pump? Just did a decarb and the engine quits when under a load. Mech. said it is most likely the fuel pump. Does anyone know the part # for the year and make? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks Again
Deuce

Test it first. While moving under load pump your squeeze bulb...does the engine pick up speed? That would indicate a faulty fuel pump.

The fuel pumps are easy re-build items however, it would be best to remove it and match the gaskets. Removal should take about 10 minutes (including break time).

Bob
