I have a 82 Johnson 25 that I just used. I left it sit in my drive way and just went out and seen it is leaking gas out the exhaust. I did leave the fuel line connected. It is very hot today and I noticed quite a bit of pressure in the tank. Any ideas? Thanks, I am new here and so far this sight seems full of useful info!

Release the pressure in the tank and see if it stops, pressure in the tank could have unseated the needle valve and allowed gas to leak into the engine.

If releasing the pressure doesnt stop it, what could it be, stuck needle or float?

The gas tank usually sets lower than the carb. Without pressure in the tank, and the engine not tilted, fuel will not flow to the carb without the fuel pump sucking fuel to the carb. If the carb is in good shape, no gaskets leaking, you should not have any leaks unless you have a split or broken fuel line.
All gas has to flow past the needle and seat to get into the carb.
