'82 Mariner 25 hp

Hi boaters ! Major snow storm up here in Ottawa Canada !! Has anybody had problems getting parts or whatsoever for an '82 or .... ? Which stores would you suggest for parts ? Thanks Loulegend

Post the serial number as you could have a import model made by Yamaha..

Thanks , cause you are right , it has a small Yam logo on the top of the pull crank ! Loulegend

I have a similar motor, and parts that I have needed have been available using Mercury/Mariner or same year Yamaha parts listings. In most cases, I found the same Yamaha (packaged) parts to cost less.

I also had one that was 1979-1980 and most parts for that were obsolete once I located the Yamaha equiv. parts list. Mariner, or at least the mercury/mariner parts listings don't go back that far.

Thanks for bringing this back up. I have an '83 Mariner/Yamaha 25 HP motor and have been wondering what year Yamaha parts would work.
