My father in Law and I are working on his Ranger. He bought a new Mercury control box, now on his motor he needs the "push" type of box to push the cable to open the throttle, not pull it. I just want to make sure I am not crazy here, when I advance the throttle from the control box the cables pull foward. The control box that he purchased is # 881148A3. Just want to make sure I didn't do something wrong here, I dont think I did when we installed it. It's the wrong box right?
