I bought the first number locally and that part number isn't listed on the Quicksilver website; are they the same?

C'mon mod, I trust these guys. I learn better by challenging and getting a fuller explanation out of things then simply one sentence answers. I've never owned a boat until the end of this summer so cut me a little slack, I'll catch up.

I trusted them on all of it..I got the QS oil and I drained my VP for winterization...I'm listening, just playing devil's advocate is all.

The box was dusty and had a 2006 trademark so I figured it was old. As long as no changes then it should work but I'm not knowledgeable enough to risk my brand new motor so I figured I ask. I appreciate the replies.
