does the primer bulb stay firm after starting,running i can firm it by pumping hot or cold but noticed it going soft shortly after starting also no pressure fizzle sound when removing fuel cap at end of run normal ??? clear skies and wind in your sails

When the engine is running the primer bulb will not stay as firm as it is when you prime the engine.
You tank is not a pressure tank, it should not build pressure. Sometimes if you let it set in the sun it will form a little pressure, but the engine does not pressurize the tank like on the duel line tanks.
