Iam reworking my 35 after I wrecked on the highway. I have a few question.

This motor has an elec primer.

I do have manuals but cant find the information i need.

1. i need to know how the fuel lines run. is the primer line before the fuel pump or after.if its after does it tee with one line going to the carb and the other to the primer?

2 does it matter which primer line goes to the carb andthe other to the motor (these are the very small ones)

I have the lines from my motor and my parts motor. iam going to use new hose but I have all my fitting

question #2 I need the fitting (i dont know the name of it) that screws into the water chamber, it has a hose that connects to it and then runs down to the pee hole. are the threads standard NPT? can I get one from tractor supply? what is the proper name for this fitting?

Thanks, Chuck

Sounds like you need a manual and I mean really need a manual.
There are a lot of standard procedures that you will need to go through to make sure that your engine does not conk out on you on the water.Specially after a road wreck which may have caused invisible problems.
Now for some of your questions.
The primer comes after the fuel pump so the fuel is pressurized otherwise it cannot make it to the carburetor.Try to get a hold of a seloc manual for your engine. That one will guide you through the process step by step. The OMC manual is better but it does take some things for granted.

Re: 84' 35 hp fuel lines

I have Seloc 1 1/4 hp to 60 hp (008-x) 1302

1971-1989 i see on page 4-55 the elec primer and how it works. It does not state were each line goes so i assume it does not matter.

#2 Page3-53 shows an exploded drawingthe fitting i need is shown with the out exaust cover but is not named. is this fitting a 1/4 inch pipe thread?

What shouold i check for after a wreck? I lost the cowing, the top coil low cowing/pan, throdle control on left side and power pack broke at the top bolt, lower unit never touch the ground. If there is somthing i should be looking for let me know.

thanks, chuck
