The throttle control gets stuck in the mid fwd position. Broke every thing apart and appears to be in the guts of the engine/throttle control. Can play with it internally to get it loose, however, evetually becomes stuck (and I mean stuck) again. Cables are fine. Where would be a good place to locate a replacement engine control. It is mounted on a 1984 Boston Whaler 15' Center Console (classic), so I'm seeking the top/console mount vs. the side mount. Can an aftermarket control be used? Does it need to be OMC specific? Control also has the trim switch mounted on the side of the top of the handle. Thanks in advance!
