84 johnson 70hp, idling problems,,

runs very strong after idle, will either rev up on its own or burp and stall? I do not see many adjustments? motor sat 4 2 years,, but started right up,,only problem is with the idle

sounds like the carbs need a good cleaning and probably replace at the least the needle valve.
