The boat is 25'5" but it's a BIG 25 footer. The boat has a deep hull and 10' beam and weighs about 6000 lbs dry (150 fuel capacity)
The power plant is a single 260/alpha setup. I'm thinking about running a 16x15 3 blade aluminum prop for trials, if that works well I'll switch to stainless. I'm not looking to set a speed record, this is just a fishing/cruise to a cove to swim all day kinda boat. But I do want the right prop/power plant setup. Any educated guesses or anyone got a similar setup they can share some of their experience with me about?
