I just found, installed, and went thru the break-in protocol on a 217.586751, 7.5 hp Gamefisher powerhead. I think I got the throttle cam in the right place, it runs wonderfully, as long as I don't kill it to park and return a call, or investigate a beaver dam, or nest, or just to listen to the friggin' creek. Then I have to yankitymacyankyank till it cranks me right off. I want one hit ****. This thing is durned well capable of it. It often four strokes from idle to high rpm, too, if that's helpful. What am I missing? Don't tell me about points, either, I don't use'em. I have an aftermarket electronic ignition module. I have been running fat oil during breakin, so I do expect to replace the plug tomorrow. HHHhhhhheeeeeelllpppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lookin' @ you, Mr. C.
