Right above the speedo pitot there is an anode with to bolts holding it on . the anode looks fine but it looks like I have unburnt fuel /oil leaking at this point , do you need to replace this anode. Also the leak itself and the unburnt fuel and oil is this a problem. I would appreciate and comments or suggestions.

Anodes wear out and should be replaced if they lose about 20% of their material. I've seen a couple of outboards legs destroyed because the anodes weren't changed.
Is the bolt loose ? maybe a new anode will stop the exh leak.

When I bought my outboard the boatyard had sprayed the leg to pretty it up, but they painted the anode too, I ground the paint off with a grinder, its no good if painted. doh!:p

Also, zinc anodes are useless if they have coated over with white zinc oxide. They are also useless without electrical contact which you can verify with your ohmmeter.

Generally, the screws holding them are the primary means of contact. The screws oxidize as well and should be removed periodically and cleaned.

The unburned fuel mix may be coming from your drain line that runs under the carburetors from the intake manifold to the air silencer - check to be sure that it is connected. You may also want to check that the air silencer gasket is in place.
