85 150 crank motor problems

I know the stator, plugs, wires, and solenoid are good. I assume the trigger is good but dont know for sure. The crank motor turns the flywheel and the battery has a full charge and yet no spark, but I dont know how fast it should turn. I assume that it has to rotate at a certain speed to spark. How can I test the crank motor and its rpm. Any other things to test?

Go listen to one that cranks normally, and compare it.

It might help to put the kill switch in the up position.

check the 20 amp fuse that supplies the motor.....they do burn out
