I have a 1985 40hp evinrude that I believe was VRO when new. I am running fuel/oil straight from tank and have found a larger diameter fule line going into the intake manifold just below the lower carb. My Seloc manual isn't very specific but I believe it is a VRO vaccum hose. I is not connected to anything right now. Will that cause my engine to not run above 2000 rpm? I do not appear to have the VRO pump that the books talks about either.
