I noticed a few times out when Im at idle, it sometimes dies.

I recall hearing about people opening up the gap from .030, to .040

Think this will help?

Give it a try and see if it helps.

1) not sure how to even go about that
2) it scares the crap out of me to touch anything on carbs. it seems like once you mess with it, you can never get it back to working. haha.

It doesnt do this ALL the time, but a few times it has when lining up to tie up on the dock, which is bad timing. haha.
