Does anyone know if the Sierra six contact switch sold here on iboats will replace my stock Bayliner/Force push to choke ignition switch? The length of the shaft looks rather short in the picture.

The Force part number is F5H078 but I can't find a cross reference.

Thanks,

John

six pole push to choke switch is correct. The length depends upon how thick the dashboard or wherever the switch is mounted. If only going through fiberglass, or if mounted in the control box, the short switch will fit. If going through 3/4 inch ply then a long switch is necessary.

Thanks Frank. My dash is 3/4 plywood with gelcoat on top. I'll take a closer look in the morning but I think I have to have a long neck switch or I'll have to rout out the plywood enough for the body of the shorter switch to fit.
