OK, I read the sticky on decarbon. My question is, is the motor in the full tilt position high enough to "keep the spark plugs up" when I pour int he Seafoam or do I have to actually remove it from the boat to make this work right?

Also, I have one of those suction cup looking things to attach a garden hose to run the motor in the driveway, but I cannot figure out where the heck to put it on the motor to get the water in! Help!

I know, I know, I'm a moron. But I do have a PFD and I always wear it so at least the whole boat thing won't kill me. I hope.

Thanks for any help.

Cant help with the water muffs but the seafoam will have to go in the gas. Sea Foam Deep creep is the stuff you spray into the cylinders and you need to do it on a warm motor.

Go to this link for decarb help

http://www.themarinedoctor.com/decarb.htm

water muffs go on the lower unit, usually behind the prop there are holes, or a grill like screen , that is where your motor takes the water in. here is a pic of my force 125 lower unit, see the grill to the left of the prop, that is where the muffs go on my motor, clamp them on, and make sure the water is running before starting

baxtr - Thanks for the info. On my old 18hp Evinrude, there was an adaptor plate that had a hose attachment, pretty easy to find.

I'll check the link out.
