85 force plug wires

ok can ya replace the plug wire on an 85/86 force 85 horse? my boots are shot that is no big deal to replace but are the wires taht go into the goil replacable? or do ya ahve to buy the whole coil pack?

I don't think you can replace the wires without replacing the entire coil, but can replace just the boots.

Look at the bottom of your post page; there have been many similar posts. All indicate that the wires are not replaceable and should not need replacement.

You can replace just the boots,napa has boot kits under their beldon line, unles they have discontinued them in the last 6 mos or so

You can get boots and clips off Ebay for @ $10 for 8 or 10. These are the stainless double spring racing clips and silicone boots. The stock clips leave alot to desire and new ones will insure a positive connection.
