85 hp cdi spare wire

thanks to all of the past posters, your posts and responses have helped me track down my problem. I had no spark at bottom cylinder, did several tests, a then connected the spare wire from rear cdi to bottom coil and now I am running. some of the posts talked about rewiring the cdi wires for proper firing using this spare wire. the posts I found referred to cylinders 1 and 2. my question is do I have to modify anything since my problem is #3, and spare wire comes from same cdi box?
