I have a 1979 85Hp evinrude that recently started to began missing intermittently while trolling.<br /><br />I replaced the spark plugs but the fouling/missing got worse to the extent that it would not plane out. At the dock, it seemed that two spark plugs on the same bank were not firing. I sprayed the carburetor with carb cleaner and the engine took off running great but only to return to doing the same thing.<br /><br />Do I have a tank of bad fuel / mixture, carburetor<br />problems or electronic ignition going bad? lynmarie@addressisp.com [/LIST] [/LIST]
